* It will tell you to wait up to 20 minutes to load.
* You will be greeted by the Home Assistant setup wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
* Create a Home Assistant Account: Enter a username, password, and any additional information required.
* Configure Location &amp; Units: Choose your location and preferred units (imperial or metric).
* Add Devices and Services: Home Assistant will begin searching for devices on your network. Depending on your network configuration, devices may automatically be discovered. This is pretty cool. I like this.
* You don’t have to “trust” them, it’s open source so you can see what it is doing while probing. This is not probing to mess with or spy on you, it’s doing this to try to make your life easier… The thing technology was supposed to do for you.
